5/2 Summer Farmers Market & May Day Celebration  The Farmers Market returns to Bud Snider (City) Park with produce, seedlings, crafts, food and music. May Day fun will include dancing around the maypole, face painting, wreath making, etc. 3–6.

5/16 Now and Then Film: Betting the Farm A group of Maine dairy farmers launch their own milk company in a bid to save their farms. The documentary follows 3 farmers and their families during the first 2 years of this endeavor. LL Grange 7pm. $5 donation
 5/17  Dinner Theater plus Dirt Floor Band Local talent, food and fun: Italian dinner by the Grange, Shakespeare Company’s Complete History of America , Abridged. LL Grange 7pm. Tickets $30 at Goods Stamp Shoppe. Benefit for SOLLV.
 5/18 Brief Tour of Ecology Action Research Garden , 10-Noon  Pre-registration at www.growbiointensive.org a week in advance. $10
