Led by: Amy Wolitzer with support from Caltrans Project Manager Maureen Doyle. After a quick introduction at the Mendocino County Museum, we will caravan to a nearby area where we can watch day turn to night. Hopefully we will catch sight of crepuscular creatures enjoying the evening cool. Maybe we will see or hear bats and owls as they begin their night shifts. If skies are clear, we can finish with a little stargazing or try a few activities to test our five senses in the dark. Participants should be prepared to walk about ½ mile on mowed ranching roads. Group size is limited.
